Enthuse Group, announces today that it has agreed to acquire a 50.1% stake in Shield Wall Media LLC, a US based media group based in Wisconsin, through its subsidiary, MyTime Media Americas Inc.
Shield Wall Media owns construction trade magazine brands including: Rural Builder, Frame Building News, Metal Roofing Magazine and Rollforming Magazine and the Construction Rollforming Show which is launching in Cincinnati in December of this year. Shield Wall Media completed the acquisition of the niche portfolio of brands from F+W Media in July, 2019 through a Chapter 11 process.
The transaction marks yet another stride forward for Enthuse, which in recent years has significantly expanded its diverse portfolio of specialist magazines, events and online communities through an active and successful buy-and-build strategy. Today the Enthuse group serve over thirty major specialist communities principally in the UK and the US.
This latest announcement expands the group’s portfolio in the US and follows on from its major acquisition at the end of March 2019 of a majority stake in AA Media Ltd which provides inspection and rating services to accommodation providers and restaurants across Britain under the AA and VisitEngland brands.
